Colin and Ian played their Top 8 game tonight on KGS. In what was at times a suspicious moyo game, Ian (white) used komi well, and came out on top by 22.5 points. This result has been updated in the championship table.

Colin MacSweeny scored his first win in this year’s Top 8 against seasoned campaigner Brian Gallagher. Playing on KGS, Colin (black) came out on top in a moyo game. Full state of play available at the scoretable PS: Issue 1 of the IGA Newsletter is available to all IGA members.
