11 Dec – Ulster Triumph in Interprovincials

For the past two years, Connaught have been the winners of the Interprovincial title. This year though, they failed to qualify, opening up the chance for a different winner. So it was then, that Ulster triumphed 2-1 over Leinster, to take their first title. Scoretables here.

10 Dec – New Irish Champion

James Hutchinson (white) beat defending champion Ian Davis today by 2.5 points. This means he takes his first national title.

James Hutchinson fought his way back into the title match today, with a half point win. There will now be a deciding game!
