Ireland won by default last Tuesday, in the European Team Go Champsionships, when their opponents failed to turn up. Bosnia clearly were intimidated by our powerful reputation, and realised, quite correctly, that turning up would not change the scoreline. A flawless 4-0 performance. The result will eventually be displayed here.

Ireland, with the aid of a sneaky bye on board 2, upset the odss to take a draw against league leaders Norway tonight, in the European league. This keeps us in good shape for this season, with 4th place looking very possible.

Yes, it really is true. Ireland have finally won a game. Tonight we played Bulgaria, and we came out on top by 3 games to 1. Hopefully this will cement our position in 4th place. For the games records and scoretables, see Pandanet’s site.

Tonight Ireland advanced to 4th place in league C of the European team championships. We drew with. then league leaders, Italy. This is our third draw out of 4 now, and one day we might win a match. 🙂

11 Dec – Ulster Triumph in Interprovincials

For the past two years, Connaught have been the winners of the Interprovincial title. This year though, they failed to qualify, opening up the chance for a different winner. So it was then, that Ulster triumphed 2-1 over Leinster, to take their first title. Scoretables here.
