The webpage for the Belfast Open is now available to view. The open will take place on the 25th and 26th of September. We are trying to get an extra round on Saturday evening, but for the moment we are a 4 round, Class B event.

The 2009 edition of the Belfast Open saw a rise in numbers, with 17 players in all. Nobody was able to defeat Edinburgh’s latest resident dan - Matt Crosby - who topped the tournament table on 4 wins. The event will take place on the weekend of the 26/27th September. It will be EGF Class B and either 4 or 5 rounds.

There was a disappointing turnout for this year’s Belfast Tournament. Only 14 players took part in the end. This year the top two players couldn’t be seperated. Daniel Paraschiv and Yohei Negi emerged as joint winners, with a conservative Claas Roever retaining his third place.

There will again be a Go tournament in Belfast this Autumn. This time we have moved to a new venue, Belfast Boat Club , and we are having a weekend event, September 27th and 28th. You can find full details on the tournament page.
