Belfast Open Announcement

The webpage for the Belfast Open is now available to view. The open will take place on the 25th and 26th of September. We are trying to get an extra round on Saturday evening, but for the moment we are a 4 round, Class B event.

The 2009 edition of the Belfast Open saw a rise in numbers, with 17 players in all. Nobody was able to defeat Edinburgh’s latest resident dan - Matt Crosby - who topped the tournament table on 4 wins. Details for the Belfast Open are now available, see webpage for details.
The event will take place on the weekend of the 26/27th September. It will be EGF Class B and either 4 or 5 rounds.

Belfast Open, 2008

There was a disappointing turnout for this year’s Belfast Tournament. Only 14 players took part in the end. This year the top two players couldn’t be seperated. Daniel Paraschiv and Yohei Negi emerged as joint winners, with a conservative Claas Roever retaining his third place.
