The second UCC Go Tournament was a two day event, won again by Wei Wang (Cork), see scoretable. In November that year Wei Wang repeated his victory. Then in 2010, just as Wei Wang had left the country, Willem Koen Pomstra travelled from the Netherlands to win the event. He was not able to return to defend his title, but his fellow countryman, Kim Ouweleen, won in his place in 2011.
