Cork will see its first Go tournament, with UCC hosting an event on Saturday the 19th of January. A 4 round McMahon rapid event is planned. Full details can be found here.

2008 Top8 Qualifiers – 11 Dec
Bernard and Rory played their Qualifiers game on KGS. Bernard managed to maintain his opening advantage despite Rory’s best efforts. The end score was 14.5 points in Bernard’s favour. Last week Brian had beaten Paul on KGS by resignation. All the Top8 Qualifiers results can now be viewed here.

The second game in the 2007 Irish Championship Final took place in the Pembroke last night. Fortunes were reversed, as Steve (b) beat Ian (w) by 13.5 points to level the score at 1-1.
